OneRoof Energy Pulls In $3M More
San Diego-based OneRoof Energy, a solar power company focused on residential solar leasing, said Wednesday that it has raised $3M more in financing. The funding came from Black Coral Capital. According to OneRoof, the funding will go to expand its current market and launch into new markets this year. OneRoof Energy provides solar lease programs for homeowners, which make it easier for homeowners to install solar power systems on their homes, by reducing or eliminating the upfront capital costs for those systems. Instead, those owners pay a monthly lease for their systems--which are usually less than the homeowners' existing power bill. OneRoof previously raised $50M in capital from Black Coral, Hanwha International, and U.S. Bancorp for its solar lease efforts. More information »
