Novatel Wireless Deploys On TELUS
San Diego-based Novatel Wireless reports this morning that it has launched its LTE-capable, USB modem on Canadian telecommunications network TELUS. Novatel said its Ovation MC679 4G LTE Mobile Internet Key will support average speeds of between 12 and 25 Mbps in TELUS LTE zones. The new device supports Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. Novatel is a provider of wireless modems and modules, as well as the MiFi mobile hotspot product. Novatel says the devices are being supplied for free by TELUS with three year contracts.
