Nova Development Wins Ancestry.com

Calabasas-based Nova Development, the consumer software publisher now owned by Avanquest Software, said today that it has signed an agreement with Ancestry.com, to publish the retail editions of Ancestry.com's Family Tree Maker genealogy software. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Nova Development will provide both development and marketing of the title, including integrating the retail boxed software with Ancestry.com's current online products. Nova Development was acquired by Avanquest in 2007.
