Newbury Park-based Nomadix, a developer of network gateway hardware, is in a major patent infringement offensive. The lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. The company said that eight of its more than 100 patents are involved in the litigation. Nomadix is owned by DOCOMO interTouch Pte. Ltd, which acquired the firm in 2008. Nomadix is being represented by Knobbe Martens Olson in the lawsuit.
