According to the foundation, the prize is named after Gene Roddenberry, the creator of Star Trek. Divergent Technologies Names Chief Strategy OfficerLos Angeles-based Divergent Technologies, a developer of a digital manufacturing system, says it has named a new Chief Strategy Officer for Aerospace and Defense. Divergent said that Nathan Diller--a retired United States Air Force Colonel--has been named to the position. Divergent said Diller most recently served on the staff of the U.S. House of Representatives Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense.
