NBCUniversal Inks Streaming Deal With Amazon
NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution and Amazon.com said Thursday morning that the two have inked a licensing agreement, which will allow Amazon Prime members to stream a select number of Universal Pictures films to their PCs, Macs, and TVs. Financial details of the licensing deal were not disclosed, however, Amazon said the deal will bolster its library to more than 9,000 movies and TV shows available through its Prime video service. The new titles include movies like "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas," "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," "Notting Hill," "Being John Malkovich", "Fletch," "Jetsons-The Movie," and "Babe".
