MySpace Targets Online Safety
Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace.com has rolled out a new initiative with WiredSafety.org to educate users about online safety and privacy. The company said that the two companies are developing and implementing guidelines and solutions for addressing online safety and privacy on MySpace. WiredSafety is a nonprofit organization that focuses on helping educate parents and children on Internet safety. MySpace operates an immensely popular online social networking service that allows users to socialize, connect, blog, and post personal profiles and information.
