MySpace Launches Android App
Los Angeles-based social networking site MySpace said today that the firm has launched an application for Google's Android mobile operating system. According to MySpace, its new MySpace Mobile experience is available via Android Market, and allows MySpace users to access the firm's mobile web site. Among features of the new applications are photo uploading from Android devices, ability to view and comment on photos, profiles, and bulletins; find and add friends; and more. The company also said it has integrated the Android app with Shazam, a mobile music discovery provider, to help its users identify unknown songs and connect to artist MySpace pages.
