MySpace Announces Self-Serve Ad Targeting
Los Angeles-based social networking website MySpace said today that it has launched plans for a new, self-serve online advertising system. MySpace said that the new platform will allow advertisers to purchase, create, and analyze ad performance throughout its web site. According to MySpace, the firm's online advertising system will allow users to select specific geographic, demographic, and user interests to present advertising to users. The firm did not say when the new system will go live on the firm's web site.
