MyShape Names New CEO, Shuffles Executives
Los Angeles-based MyShape, which develops a personalized shopping site for women's apparel, said today that it has named Mercedes De Luca as CEO of the firm. The company also said that it has added De Luca to the board. De Luca was most recently the company's Chief Technology Officer, and had previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Executive at Yahoo! Inc. She also has been at Interwoven. In addition to De Luca, the company said it has appointed Rocky Hansler as Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Loree Lash-Valencia as Senior Vice President of Business Development.
De Luca replaces Founder, Chairman, and CEO Louise Wannier, who no longer is listed on the firm's list of directors or executives. MyShape offers an online retail shop for women's clothing, which takes into account a woman's size and shape to recommend fashions. The firm has previously raised funding from DFJ Growth Fund, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Lehman Brothers Venture Partners, Pasadena Angels, the Tech Coast Angels, and Tenaya Capital.
