MyLife.com Plans $35M Marketing Push
Los Angeles-based MyLife, the online social networking search site run by Jeff Tinsley, reported Monday that it is planning to spend $35M on marketing this year, starting with a nationwide television campaign. The firm, which has been pushing a new offering to help people find and connect with friends, family, and work contacts across multiple social networks, said the spending will go to promote its new Personal Relationship Manager and search services. MyLife has recently been swizzling its subscription offerings beyond its people search roots as Reunion.com, to encompass social networking sites and broader functionality. The company says is now has over 60 million registered members, and is seeing 350 million searches per month on its site.
