Musk Balks At Twitter Deal, Clashes With CEO
Elon Musk appears to be balking at his proposed acquisition of Twitter--or at very least, how much he has proposed to pay for the company--publicly clashing with Twitter's CEO and saying that the deal "cannot move forward" until Twitter's CEO publicly shows proof of the company's estimate of the number of fake/spam accounts on the service. Musk is CEO of Hawthorne, California-based SpaceX, one of his few companies that still is headquartered in California.
20% fake/spam accounts, while 4 times what Twitter claims, could be *much* higher.

My offer was based on Twitter’s SEC filings being accurate.
Yesterday, Twitter’s CEO publicly refused to show proof of <5%.
This deal cannot move forward until he does.
