Morphlabs Partners With Asian Data Center Providers
Manhattan Beach-based Morphlabs, the developer of cloud infrastructure equipment and software headed by Winston Damarillo, said Thursday that it has linked with data center, hosting, and service providers Globe Telecom, Pratesis and Exist Global. All three serve the Southeast Asian market. According to Morphlabs, all of the firms are using its mCloud Data Center Unit (DCU) to provide dynamic infrastructure to their market. Morphlabs appliance helps ISPs implement cloud datacenter services, tying together open source cloud building blocks with industry standard hardware. Financial impact of the various deals was not disclosed. Morphlabs has been seeing the earliest adoption of its product in Asia, and just announced a $5M, Series C funding earlier this week from a Japanese data center operator.
