Momentum IoT Launches Product To Track Tool Usage
Long Beach-based Momentum IoT launched a new product on Friday, which it says can be used to track the usage of tools on job sites. According to the company, its Internet-of-Things product is like "Fitbit for Tools". The company said its Toolie tracking product lets customers track everything from a ladder to a chainsaw or welder, and connects with its fleet GPS tracker via Bluetooth. The company said it tracks tool usage based on motion detection, works without phones, and just sticks onto tools. Pricing on the new product was not announced. Momentum IoT is led by CEO Justin Silva.
