MixMode Finds $4M For AI Cybersecurity Tools
Satna Barbara-based MixMode, a developer of artificial intelligence cybersecurity software, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $4M in its Series A funding round. The funding was led by Entrada Ventures, and also included existing investors including Keshif Ventures and Blu Venture Investors. The company said the new funding will go to expand its platform and to fuel growth. The company, which is led by CEO John Keister, says that it has developed a predictive analytis software aimed at helping large enterprise security teams to identify zero-day threats. The company said its CTO and chief scientist is Dr. Igor Mezic, who the company says has been developing artificial intelligence technology projects for DARPA, the Air Force, Army, CDC, and many others.
