LogMeIn Employees Pitch In To Help First Responders In Montecito
Goleta-based employees for LogMeIn have pitched in to help in the aftermath of the massive disaster in Montecito, and spent all Saturday cleaning off mud from Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Search and Rescue response vehicles, equipment and even the station itself, according to the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office tweeted out a picture of the LogMeIn employees over the weekend. LogMeIn is just one of a large number of high tech companies in the affected area. The affected area in Montecito stretches from the headquarters of QAD, which was taken offline last week immediately after the mud flows early Tuesday morning, and such companies as ProCore and Lynda.com are also based nearby.
Thanks to 25 plus employees from LogMeIn in Goleta who took their Saturday to clean all the mud off of Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Search and Rescue response vehicles, equipment and even the station itself. We appreciate this wonderful act of kindness and support.#sbsheriff pic.twitter.com/ri6j41jT6r
