Lionsgate Inks Major Film Deal On Steam
Santa Monica-based studio Lionsgate said Monday that it has inked a deal to offer up a library of films to Steam, the digital distribution platform run by Valve. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The deal will bring such films as Hunger Games, Twilight, Saw and Divergent to the Steam platform, best known for its videogame streaming. The two said the partnership initially includes 100 Lionsgate feature films, and will eventually expand worldwide with more titles.
