LG Electronics Deploys Mindspeed

Newport Beach-based Mindspeed announced that LG Electronics has designed in the company's Comcerto VoIP Processor in its new wireless media gateway. LG's new Generex-2000 wideband CDMA media gateway uses the Mindspeed silicon for providing third generation (3G) cellular infrastructure. The new network infrastructure is designed for service providers in Asia, and supports both 3G cell network as well as 2G mobile phones.
