Lantern Credit Expands Board
Newport Beach-based fintech startup Lantern Credit announced very late Monday evening, that it has appointed Richard Gomez-Acebo to its Board of Managers. Gomez-Acebo was most recently in risk management at Banco Santander, and also has served at Spanish bank Banesto. Lantern Credit said Gomez-Acebo has more than 30 years of experience in the Spanish and international banking sectors. Lantern Credit's CEO is Chad Swensen; the company's Chairman is investor John Mack, with Vice Chairman held by former Apple CEO John Sculley. Lantern Credit says it is developing a white label platform for financial institutions, which provides an "interactive credit report" to their customers to help them improve their financial wellness.
