Lancaster Gets Funding For Hydrogen Efforts

The City of Lancaster said this morning that it has been selected as part of a Department of Energy (DOE) program to encourage the development of clean energy and hydrogen development. The company said that California's Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES) has been awarded up to $1.2 billion under the DOE's Regional Clean Hydrogen Hubs (H2Hubs) program, and that it has joined as the first city in the ARCHES effort. Lancaster says its first hydrogen project, Dash Clean Energy, is expected to produce 292,000 kg/year of renewable hydrogen.
