San Diego-based Kyocera Wireless and Virgin Mobile USA have rolled out a new, mobile phone targeted at the youth space. Virgin Mobile said today that it will roll out its new Switch_Back handset, targeting the teen market with pre-loaded AOL Instant Messanger, a stylish design, and a QWERTY keypad for emailing, text messaging, instant messaging, and online browsing. The new phone opens up to expose a large keypad and display, which provide a Blackberry-like look and feel to the mobile phone. The phone also includes web browsing capabilities, an integrated VGA camera, and sound.
