Kurion Sets New President
Irvine-based Kurion, the developer of nuclear waste management technology, said today that it has named Jacques Besnainou as its new President. Besnainou was previously at nuclear services company AREVA, and also had served at Ecobilan. Kurion says Besnainou is based in Washington, D.C., and has been advising the company since mid-2014. Kurion is best known for applying its nuclear waste technology to the cleanup at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant and Hanford.
