Kotura Names CTO

Monterey Park-based Kotura, a provider of photonics products, appointed a new CTO today. The firm named Mehdi Asghari, Ph.D., as Chief Technology Officer. Asghari joins Kotura from Bookham, Inc., where he was VP of Research and Development. Kotura is developing CMOS optical chips and components, used in the communications industry.
