Koders Targets Professionals
Santa Monica-based source code search engine firm Koders is announcing today that it has officially released a new self-service, professional edition of its corporate code search product. The new product is targeted at software developers looking for a tool to search their own private source code. The new Koders Pro Edition software is downloadable by developers, and according to the firm searches version control systems from development IDEs like Eclipse and Visual Studio, along with the web. The product was previously available under a beta test program, and is based on the same technology as the firm's enterprise code search product. Koders is venture backed by The Founder's Fund, Active Starts, and Western Technology Investment.
