KidZui Launches Advertising Platform

San Diego-based KidZui said this week that it has launched a new advertising platform focused on family-friendly brands. The firm said its new platform, KidClicks, allows brands to reach kids through the KidZui browser. As part of the launch, the firm said it has hired Bryan Mullen as Chief Revenue Officer. Mullen joins the firm from The Nickelodeon Kids & Family Group, where he was VP Sales and Marketing. The advertising on KidClicks includes age- and gender-filtered content, must meet editorial standards, and includes ability to link to videos or other websites. KidZui also said that it will provide parents with reports on kids interests--as well as links to relevant promotions and product information--based on when kids "like" content. KidZui said it has already signed up pilot client including DreamWorks, Disney, Universal Theatrical, Warner Brothers, LeapFrog, Electronic Arts, Square Enix, Toys"R"Us, Foopets, National Geographic, and Herotopia for the advertising effort.
