Jam City's Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Launches On iOS, Android
The highly anticipated, Harry Potter-themed videogame from Los Angeles-based Jam City--Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery--officially launched today, and is now on Apple's App Store and Google Play. Jam City's new title allows players to create their own character, and experience "life as a Hogwarts students"--including picking their own house, taking classes, going on adventures, and more. The game was developed by Jam City, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, and features voices of many of the original Harry Potter actors and actresses. The new game is free to play. Jam City was founded by Chris DeWolfe and Aber Whitcomb, the founders of MySpace, along with Josh Yguado, a longtime LA technology veteran and former 20h Century Fox executive; the company's most popular titles (before the Harry Potter launch) included Cookie Jam and Panda Pop.
