iRise Settles Patent Suit
El Segundo-based iRise, a developer of visualization products used for prototyping corporate software projects, reports today that the firm has settled a patent infringement lawsuit filed against Axure Software Solutions. The firm said the that the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California has found that Axure Software Solutions infringes on multiple claims on one of its patents, and denied a motion to find iRise's patent invalid. As a result, the firm said that the parties have settled their dispute. Financial details of the settlement were not disclosed. iRise had sued Axure in June of 2008 over patent infringement.
