introNetworks Bolsters Social Networking Software
Santa Barbara-based introNetworks, a provider of social networking software, has upgraded the firm's software. The firm's product is used by companies, other organizations, and event planners to connect people based on their common interests and personal profiles. According to the firm, the upgraded software now handles creating groups as part of a larger community; new collaboration features for sharing documents, links, and other information; ability to add messages and advertising to the software; and new reporting tools. introNetworks is backed by Adobe; the firm said its customer include Autodesk, British Airways, Fortune, Harvard, HP, Intel, Starcom MediaVest, United Way and Virgin Galactic.
