Interpolls Links With Google On Ad Serving
Pasadena-based Interpolls announced Monday that the firm has been certified as a third party provider of rich media ad serving for Google's content network. The firm said it will serve its widgets, video banners, and other advertising content on Google's content network web sites. Interpolls creates advertising ad units which includes quizzes, polls, videos, and other types of rich media widgets. According to Interpolls, the certification is the first time Google has let a third party provider serve ads on its content network. Financial impact of the deal was not disclosed. The move follows an announcement by Google today that it has opened up its network to third party advertising tags in North America; Google also certified Eyeblaster, EyeWonder, PointRoll, and Unicast in the Rich Media area, in addition to DoubleClick, its own advertising unit.
