Interlink to Miss 10Q Deadline
Troubled electronics makers Interlink Electronics said yesterday that it will not be able to meet the filing deadline for its third quarter 10-Q report, as the firm struggles to handle an accounting restatement. The firm said that the company's Audit Committee is examining issues raised by the company's intention to restate its historical financial results. The company said that because of its ongoing examination, it will be unable to complete its quarterly financial close, and auditors will be unable to finalize their review. Interlink had announced earlier this month that it would restate its 2003, 2004, and current year's results due to material weaknesses in accounting controls. Interlink provides signature pads and other electronic devices.
