Instacanvas Becomes Twenty20
Los Angeles-based Instacanvas, the Muckerlab startup which provided a way for users to print their photos to canvas, swizzled its name, and business Wednesday, saying that it has renamed itself as Twenty20. According to the company, the switch came to elevate the photos and media being featured on the site "above social media", and to help get those photos in front of more people. Instacanvas had raised funding from MuckerLab, Bullpen Capital, First Round Capital, and Founders Fund. Twenty20 said it is now to "get your photos in front of more people, better ways to help would-be buyers connect with the right images, a more elegant and addictive mobile experience" along with other features. Twenty20 is led by Matt Munson.
