Inseego Names New Board Member
San Diego-based Inseego, the company formerly known as Novatel Wireless, said this morning that it has added Jeffrey M. Tuder as a new, independent director at the company. Tuder is an investment executive and previously has served at such public equity and hedge funds as JHL Capital Group, KSA MidOcean, and Tremson Capital Management. He also has served at Fortress Investment Group, Nassau Capital (Princeton University's Endowment), ABS Capital Partners, and CapitalSource Finance. Tuder also is on the board of MRV Communications and is an advisor to Clique. Inseego is in the midst of a protracted effort to sell its Novatel Wireless business to a Chinese buyer, an effort which has been stymied in regulatory review.
