Inari Medical Gets $4.7M For Medical Device Startup
Aliso Viejo-based Inari Medical, a medical device developer incubated out of Inceptus Medical, said Wednesday that it has raised $4.7M in a Series A funding round. The funding came from Versant Venturs and U.S. Venture Partners. Inceptus said that the funding will go towards development and commercialization of Inari's devices for the interventional treatment of cardiovascular disease. As part of the funding, Kirk Nielsen of Versant VEntures, and Jonathan Root of USVP will both join the company's board. Inceptus said that Inari Medical will be led by Bob Rosenbluth, Brian Cox and Paul Lubock. More information »
