Illumina Selects Companies For Startup Accelerator

San Diego-based lifesciences equipment maker Illumina says it has selected five companies to participate in its startup accelerator the Illumina Accelerator. According to Illumina, the companies selected for the accelerator in this class includes (skin microbial therapeutics); MedAnswers (big data and genetics for matching would-be parents with fertility experts); Mediphage Bioceuticals (cures for chronic diseases); TrueGenomix Health (treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder); and Unite Genomics (machine learning for genomic analyses).
