IDrive Expands Service To International Market
Los Angeles-based IDrive, the online backup and cloud storage company led by Raghu Kulkarni, said yesterday that it has expanded its IDrive Express service to its international customers. IDrive Express is the company's program which ships external hard drives to customers to more rapidly upload their data into the company's cloud storage infrastructure. The company had launched the service earlier to allow customers to bulk upload their data to the company's cloud, and bypass slow Internet upload speeds. The company offers up the program for free, with certain limits depending on what plan users are subscribed to on the company's cloud backup service. The bulk loading service now covers Canada, Germany, France, Italy, Australia and the U.K., in addition to the United States.
