HyperX Signs Brazilian Soccer Player In Endorsement Deal
Fountain Valley-based gaming products maker HyperX, which is part of Kingston Technology, says it has signed up its very first Brazilian "gaming ambassador", soccer player Casemiro. Casemiro plays for Real Madrid and the Brazil national team. According to HyperX, Casemiro--who is now based in Madrid--will use HyperX products while gaming in his free time. Financial arrangements behind the deal were not announced. HyperX also said Casemiro will participate in its global advertising campaign, "We're All Gamers". HyperX has been very busy signing up celebrity athletes, musicians, and others to be its "gaming ambassadors", as there is more and more crossover between the video gaming industry and sports and elsewhere. The company's other "ambassadors" include Marco Reus (Borussia Dortmund), Dele Alli (Tottenham), Post Malone, Gordon Hayward (Celtics), Joel Embiid (Philadelphia 76ers), DeAaron Fox (Sacramento Kings), and JuJu Smith-Schuster(Pittsburgh Steelers).
