HomeLister Finds $4.5M

Santa Monica-based HomeLister, a startup which helps homeowners sell their own homes online, has raised $4.5M in a seed funding round, the company said on Tuesday. The funding was led by MetaProp and Homebrew. The company is led by co-founder and CEO Lindsay McLean. HomeLister charges a flat fee of $599 for helping people to list their homes for sale online, as well as publishing them to local multiple listing services.
