Hirsch Electronics Merges With SCM Microelectronics
Santa Ana-based Hirsch Electronics, a provider of physical security and access control electronics, has become part of SCM Microsystems. According to SCM Microsystems, Hirsch has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the firm this morning. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Hirsch develops physical access control hardware, including keypads and card readers. The deal was first announced in December.
