HireRight Launches Outplacement Service Powered By CareerArc
Irvine-based HireRight has launched a new outplacement service and "career transition" product, which is powered by Los Angeles-based CareerArc Group, the developer of TweetMyJobs and Internships.com. HireRight said its new HireRight CareerBeam product helps match employees to new jobs, using social networks for referrals, and applying job-matching algorithms. HireRight is looking to offer the service to companies for helping in outplacement and in restructuring efforts. CareerArc Group is headed by serial entrepreneur Robin D. Richards; the firm, which started as Internships.com, has since expanded into a wider range of employment-related software and services. Details of the business deal between HireRight and CareerArc Group were not announced. Robin D. Richards was CEO of NTI Group (sold to Blackboard); was CEO of Vivendi Universal Net USA; and also was founding President and COO at MP3.com.
