Guidance Software Funds Data Security Program At Caltech
Pasadena-based Guidance Software, which makes computer forensics and digital investigation software, said today that it has funded a data security research program at the Caltech Institute of Technology (Caltech). Guidance Software did not say how much it is investing in the program, aimed at advancing cybersecurity incident response. The joint program will come out of Caltech's Center for Data-driven Discovery, led by Julian Bunn and Professor Emeritus Mani Chandy.
