Google Ramps Hiring In Irvine
Search engine giant Google appears to be ramping its hiring efforts in Irvine, according to representatives of the company. The firm said it grew the Irvine locations by more than 20 percent in 2010, and that this will be the firm's hiring year ever including its Southern California locations. Google said in January that it was expecting 2011 to be its biggest hiring year ever. A quick look at the positions at the location include Software Engineers, Product Managers, Technical Leads, and more. Google's Irvine location works on such products as Google Analytics and Google TV Ads, and also includes the usual fringe benefits Google is known for, including free food at the location's cafe and fitness classes. Google is also making a big push to hire at its Santa Monica location.
