GeoMicro Acquired By Canadian Firm
Irvine-based GeoMicro, a developer of GPS route planning software for the logistics industry, has been acquired by Canadian firm Descartes Systems Group. Financial terms of the buy were not announced by the firms. GeoMicro's software is used for commercial, turn-by-turn and mapping for enterprises. Descartes (Nasdaq: DSGX) said the acquisition would help it bolster its technology platform.
