G-Technology, Ingram Micro Ink U.S. Distribution Deal
G-Technology Inc., a manufacturer of audio/video data storage devices, revealed earlier this week that it has signed a U.S. distribution deal with global IT supplier Ingram Micro Inc. According to G-Technology, Ingram Micro will carry G-Tech's entire line of storage solutions, including its USB, FireWire, eSATA, SCSI and Fibre Channel systems. Additionally, G-Technology noted, Ingram Micro will market and support G-Tech's external storage drives as part of Ingram Micro's Components division. Ingram Micro distributes IT products to 150 countries and, G-Technology added, is the only broad-based international IT distributor with operations in Asia. G-Technology is headquartered in Santa Ana, and is owned by Fabrik, which purchased the company in January of last year; G-Technology was founded by Roger Mabon, who previously was at Medea.
