FutureDash Takes On Home Energy Monitoring
Laguna Beach-based FutureDash, a new startup software firm, has launched into the home energy monitoring software market today, saying it has launched a new product called GreenDash. The firm said its software allows manufacturers of consumer networking and electronics equipment to add energy monitoring capabilities to their products. FutureDash was founded by Allan Hundhausen--formerly of Quark, Inc.-- and is run by Kevin Strong, who was most recently EVP Marketing at GloNav. FutureDash is targeting OEMs and manufacturers of consumer electronics, networking, and broadband gateway devices with its software.
