Experian Opens R&D Center Headed By LowerMyBills Founder
Irvine-based Experian Interactive has opened a new research and development arm, the firm said Wednesday, which will focus on creating new lines of business. The new Experian Interactive Innovation Center will be headed by Matt Coffin, founder and president of LowerMyBills.com. According to the company, the team there will identify and develop new business opportunities that utilize Experian's data and analytics along with existing brands. The new center will include facilities in Northern California in San Carlos, and in Southern California in Santa Monica. LowerMyBills was acquired by Experian in May of 2005.
