Evolution Robotics, WowWee In Alliance

Pasadena-based Evolution Robotics and toy maker WowWee Robotics announced this morning that the two companies will integrate Evolution's vision and navigation technology into the next generation of WowWee products. WowWee is the developer of the popular Robosapien and Roboraptor consumer entertainment products. The firms said that WowWee will incorporate Evolution's visual pattern recognition software and navigation capabilities in future robotic products. Evolution Robotics is an Idealab startup developing robotic technology.
