Esri Ties Into National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency Cross Training Effort
Redlands-based Esri, the developer of geographical information systems, mapping, and spatial analytics software, has been selected by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), for a program which places NGA employees in industry positions. According to Esri, the agency's eNGAge program places NGA employees in temporary positions with industry and academic partners, and also embeds experts from external institutions in NGA teams. Esri said that the NGA's program is aimed at increasing employees' exposure to new and emerging technologies and methodologies outside the public sector.
