EON Reality Targets Mobile Virtual Reality
Irvine-based EON Reality, a maker of interactive 3D, virtual reality products, said today that it has rolled out a new product designed for mobile use. The firm said EON Mobile Icube is a 3D, virtual reality system which can be used for such things as trade shows and training. The firm said the device can be moved from location-to-location, and set-up in a few hours by an AV technician. Pricing on the new system was not released, and the firm said it expects the first customer install for the system to occur in the fall. EON Reality's 3D systems are used by customers such as Atlas Copco, Bechtel, Boeing, Bombardier, Hon, Intel, Lexus, Lufthansa-Teknik, Samsung, Siemens Medical, Suzuki and Toyota for their 3D design efforts and simulation.
