Emulex Partners With Ethernet Technology Firm

Costa Mesa-based Emulex, a developer of Fibre Channel hardware for the storage networking market, said Tuesday that it has partnered with Ethernet equipment maker ServerEngines Corporation. According to the firms, they will partner to deliver "converged networking solutions." ServerEngines develops Ethernet and iSCSI hardware. Financial impact of the partnership were not disclosed. Details on the collaboration were sketchy, however, the two companies said that the combination will help in the delivery of adapters, mezzanine cards, and LAN on Motherboard products.
