Ember Raises $13M For Temperature Controlled Mug
Westlake Village-based Ember Technologies, the maker of a temperature controlled, thermal mug, has raised $13M more in funding, the company disclosed today. Source of the funding was not announced. Ember, led by Clay Alexander, says its team includes product designers and engineers formerly with Apple, Google, Nokia, Microsoft, and Amazon Labs. Ember's mug allows users to rapidly cool drinks to their exact preference, and maintain the temperature of their favorite drink to any setting between 120 degrees and 145 degrees.
